Bayut

Bayut listings are managed through Profolio, Bayut’s own listing management system. Brixit sends listings to Profolio, and Profolio distributes them to Bayut and dubizzle.

What you need

An API token from Profolio. In Profolio, go to Settings → API and generate one. It is shown once, so copy it before closing the dialog.

Connect

1. Integrations → Portals in Brixit.
2. Find Bayut and press Configure.
3. Paste the API Token.
4. Save, then switch the portal on.

Publishing

Listings gain a Bayut option in their portals tab once the integration is active. Because Profolio sits in the middle, a listing that Brixit has sent successfully may still be pending inside Profolio — the status shown in Brixit is the status Profolio last reported.

Locations

Profolio uses its own location hierarchy, which does not always line up with free-text addresses. When you publish, Brixit matches your listing’s community against Profolio’s list; if there is no confident match the listing is held and asks you to pick the right location explicitly. It is worth doing this once per community — the choice is remembered.

Common rejections

• Permit number missing or expired. Bayut requires a valid Trakheesi permit for UAE listings.
• Too few images. Profolio enforces a minimum count.
• Agent not registered. The agent must exist in Profolio with a matching licence number.
